EVRIS’s dispute resolution team together with the legal department of J&L Consulting have successfully defended the interests of the Danish investor Banke Electromotive at the International Commercial Arbitration Court.

The dispute with the Ukrainian company regarding the implementation of the contract for the development and production of an experimental model worth more than 700 thousand euros, where Banke Electromotive acted as a client, was considered by the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Ukrainian CCI (the ICAC).

In the course of consideration of the case, the arbitral tribunal agreed with the arguments of the project team lawyers of EVRIS and J&L Consulting and concluded that the obligations of the Ukrainian contractor were not fulfilled. According to the results of the decision, the client’s claims for damages and termination of the contract were satisfied.

The project work was held by managing partner Ihor Kravtsov, senior associate Kostiantyn Kurylchenko, and associate Oleksandr Savchenko from the side of EVRIS and head of legal department Andriy Senik from J&L Consulting.
