Development of the agrarian sector does not only mean investing in production of agricultural goods. In addition, this is formation of a positive image of Ukraine in the world markets, education for agrarians, creation of synergy between agro and, for example, IT sector, proper communication, adaptation of the regulatory framework. And of course, complex legal support on all stages of the agrarian activities, from lease of lands to audit of an existing company in order to increase its investment attractiveness.

All this and many other issues was discussed during the IX International Conference “Doing of Agrarian Business in Ukraine“, which brought together leaders and owners of agricultural companies, foreign experts, government officials and investors.

Head of Dispute Resolution Ihor Kravtsov presented legal nuances of land plot use and now shares his impressions from the Conference:

“The conference has gathered so many participants that during some sections there were not enough seats for everybody. Such activity was a bit unexpected for organizers. But, in general, it has once again shown the actuality of agribusiness in Ukraine in general and legal support of this activity in particular. If we talk about legal aspects, the general trend of the market can be described as “defense of rights and legitimate interests”. Many interesting reports were devoted to actions in this area: business ombudsmen, Ministry of Justice, courts and other institutions are searching for ways to protect an agrarian. I hope that we have also contributed to defense of investors in the agro-industry, having told them about the latest trends in dispute resolution in the field of land matters.”
